The objective of this module to familiarise RF engineers with design of Analog and Digital Two-way communications system such as LMR, DMR, P25, TETRA, etc… which are based on TSB-88 standards.
This module is of 3 hours duration.
This module assumes that the participant is familiar with RF concepts such as Antenna theory, RF propagation, and Link Budgets.

- Static Sensitivity,
- Faded Sensitivity,
- Coverage Probability,
- Balanced Link Budget derivation,
- Protection Ratio method,
- Interference Rejection Ratio – IRF,
- Circuit Capacity: Erlang B & C.
